Trips Out for Residents

As much as we love to have visitors to our home - for music recitals, art, and talks - we love to go out into the community.

The South Somerset C.A.T bus took some of our residents out to Otter Garden Centre where they enjoyed a cup of coffee and cake and brought some beautiful flowers for their rooms.

The C.A.T bus is such a valuable part of our care as it supports residents to get out and about safely to do the little things they love. A new environment does wonders for the heart and soul.

They surprised Carla, who was Nurse on Duty that day, with a pink orchid and a book about dogs - Carla has three dogs! You can see by her face how touched she was by their gift.
