Elliscombe House Celebrates the King's Coronation

Residents, families and staff enjoyed weekend-long celebrations to share in the coronation of Charles III and his wife Camilla, as king and queen of the United Kingdom and the other Commonwealth realms.

The crowning of the new king took place on 6 May 2023 at Westminster Abbey and residents watched the procession and ceremony on the big screen in the Orangery. It was a real family affair!

Charles acceded to the throne on 8 September 2022, upon the death of his mother, Elizabeth II.
