Christmas in full swing at Elliscombe House
Over the past few weeks, we have been sharing photographs of our Christmas decorations and festive celebrations with you. Elliscombe House is a stunning setting year-round, but at Christmas it looks even more beautiful! Our high ceilings and fireplaces are the perfect location for garlands, candles, and of course our spectacular tree.
Our festivities are now in full swing. This week we have been making Christmas Cake with our Head Chef Ben; enjoyed a floristry demonstration by Susan Dun; and today we’re taking part in Christmas Jumper Day in aid of Save the Children.
We are only just beginning, as on Sunday we have our first visit of the season from a choir. We are looking forward to welcoming members of the Wincanton Local Choir, who will be signing carols and enjoying mince pies with us. We have a further visit from a choir (Pilgrims Choir from Bruton) next Thursday, the day after our own Elliscombe House Christmas party.
With all this and our regular activities and visitors too, we have a busy few weeks ahead at Elliscombe House!
