We are recruiting a Kitchen Assistant.
 
Hours: 18 per week
Pay: competitive
 
Elliscombe House, a new boutique nursing and residential home for 35 residents is due to open soon. The original Edwardian house has been extensively refurbished and modernised to promote efficient care enabling our staff team to spend that all important time with our residents. 
 
As a Kitchen Assistant you will support our fabulous Chefs by carrying out duties including dishwashing, using kitchen equipment, preparing salads, sandwiches and drinks, and maintaining general Health and Safety standards.
 
Ideally, you’ll have some kitchen experience, you’ll have either an NVQ2 in Catering or Food Preparation or the willingness to study for one. Great record keeping and organisational skills will be essential, as will the ability to follow simply recipes.
